Effective 26 June 2026  ·  Last updated 24 July 2026

How PIMC Global Consult Ltd collects, uses and protects your personal data — across this website and the PIMC Client mobile app. Written to meet our obligations under the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019.

In short: We collect what we need to sell you land, transfer your title, and support you — nothing more. We never sell your personal data. We do use Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) pixel to measure how this website is used and to show our adverts to people who have visited it, and we send Meta a scrambled version of your contact and basic profile details so it can tell which advert worked — you can opt out of all of this, and section 2 explains how.

1. Who we are

PIMC Global Consult Ltd (“PIMC”, “we”, “us”) sells subdivided land in Kenya. PIMC holds the registered mother title for each parcel; individual plot titles are issued on subdivision. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

2. When you use this website

You can browse pimc.co.ke without giving us any personal data. We never sell your personal data and we do not pass it to data brokers. We do use two measurement tools — Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) pixel — and both set cookies on your device. They are described below.

We do use Google Analytics to understand how this website is performing — which pages people read, which devices they use, and which country they visit from. Google Analytics stores a cookie on your device containing a randomly generated identifier so that it can tell a returning visit from a new one. It does not tell us your name, and Google Analytics 4 does not log or store full IP addresses. We use this only to improve the website and our marketing; our legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how our website performs.

We also use the Meta pixel (Facebook and Instagram). It tells Meta that a browser visited this website and which key actions it took — for example opening WhatsApp from one of our buttons, or submitting an enquiry. Meta uses this to report how our adverts perform and to show our adverts to people who have already visited pimc.co.ke, and to people who resemble them. This means some of your activity on this site is shared with Meta, which may match it to your Facebook or Instagram account if you have one. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in marketing our land to people likely to be interested in it.

When you submit an enquiry — and, if you go on to buy from us, when your purchase is recorded — we also send Meta a scrambled ("hashed") version of the details you gave us. That covers your email address, phone number and name, and — only where we actually hold them — your date of birth, gender, town or city, county, postcode and country, along with an internal reference number and the value of the purchase. Hashing is one-way: Meta receives a string of characters, not the details themselves. Meta can, however, compare those strings against its own records to work out whether one of our adverts led to your enquiry or purchase, which is the whole purpose of sending them.

We do not send Meta your ID or KRA number, your payment or M-Pesa details, which plot you bought, or anything from your PIMC Client account. If you would rather we did not share these details at all, contact us using section 14 and we will exclude you.

You can opt out at any time by blocking cookies in your browser settings, browsing in private/incognito mode, installing Google's official Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, and adjusting your Meta ad preferences. Opting out will not affect your ability to use this site or to submit an enquiry.

If you submit an enquiry form, we collect the details you type — typically your name, phone number, email address, and how you heard about us — so that our sales team can contact you about land. Enquiry forms are delivered to us by FormSubmit, which forwards the submission to our email address. Our legal basis is your consent, given when you choose to submit the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our land.

Like almost all websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (including your IP address) for security and troubleshooting.

3. When you use the PIMC Client app

PIMC Client is a private portal for people who have already bought land from PIMC. Accounts are created by us — you cannot sign up inside the app — and you must be 18 or over to use it.

What we collectWhyLegal basis
Account details — name, email address, phone number, client ID To create and secure your account and identify you as our client Performance of your contract with us
Identity (KYC) — ID type and number, KRA PIN, date of birth, physical address, next-of-kin name and contacts, and photographs of your passport photo and identity document (front and back) To verify your identity, prepare your sale agreement, and transfer land title into your name Legal obligation (land transfer and anti-money-laundering) and your consent
Purchase and financial records — plots, sale agreements, prices, payment plans, instalments, payments, receipts and balances To administer your purchase and show your statement and balance Performance of your contract with us
Payment details — the M-Pesa phone number you enter, and the resulting transaction reference and amount To take payment through Safaricom M-Pesa and record it against your account Performance of your contract with us
Electronic signature — your signature image or typed name, plus the time, IP address and device type at the moment of signing To record your signature on your sale agreement and keep a trustworthy audit trail Performance of your contract; legal obligation
Support messages — the messages you send our team in the app To answer your questions and keep a record of what was agreed Performance of your contract; our legitimate interest in supporting you
Device and technical — push notification token, app version, error diagnostics To send you account alerts and keep the app working Our legitimate interest in operating the app

The app does not collect your location, contacts, camera, microphone or browsing activity, and contains no advertising or analytics SDKs. It only accesses a photo when you choose one yourself to upload a KYC document.

4. When our staff use the PIMC Field CRM app

PIMC Field CRM is our internal app for PIMC sales agents. It is not for the public: there is no sign-up, accounts are created by PIMC, and only staff holding a sales or administrator role can use it. It is described here because it is the app an agent uses to hold your record after you enquire, and because every app must point at a privacy policy.

If you have enquired with us or bought from us, the agent looking after you sees your record in this app: your name, phone number and email; what you told us you are looking for (project, plot type, budget range, number of plots); your site-visit arrangements; the notes and call outcomes the agent records after speaking with you; your WhatsApp conversation with our business number; and, if you have bought, your plots, payment schedule and balance, which the app can only read. This is the same data described in sections 2 and 3 — the app is a window onto it, not a separate collection of it. A WhatsApp reply an agent sends you from the app is also copied onto your record, so that the next person you speak to knows what you were already told.

If you are a PIMC staff member using the app, we also process data about you: your name, work email and user ID; a record of your actions in the app (calls dialled, messages sent, stages changed, follow-ups set); your device's notification token, so we can alert you to a new lead; and, from Expo — the service that delivers our app updates — a random installation identifier, the identifiers of the app version you are running, and the error text of a previous failed launch. We use this to run the app, to route leads to an owner, and to measure how quickly enquiries are answered. Your manager can see your lead and response-time figures.

The Field CRM contains no advertising SDK, and does not collect your location, contacts, camera, microphone or browsing activity.

Staff accounts are created and closed by PIMC, so there is no "delete my account" button inside this app. If you are a member of staff and want a copy of your data or want it erased, or if you are a client and want your record removed, email hello@pimcglobal.co.ke — see section 11.

5. If you refer someone

The app lets you refer a friend or family member by giving us their name and phone number (and optionally their email). Please only do this if that person is happy for you to share their details with us. We use those details solely to contact them about PIMC land and to credit any reward to you. If you have been referred to us and would like your details removed, email hello@pimcglobal.co.ke and we will delete them.

6. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with data brokers. We share it only with:

  • Safaricom PLC (M-Pesa) — to process a payment you initiate.
  • Google (Firebase) — our technology provider, which hosts the app's database, sign-in and file storage.
  • Google (Analytics) — which measures website traffic on our behalf. This applies to the website only; the PIMC Client app contains no analytics SDK.
  • Meta Platforms (Facebook/Instagram) — which measures our advert performance and lets us advertise to people who have visited our website. This includes a hashed (scrambled) form of your contact and basic profile details when you enquire or purchase, as described in section 2, so Meta can tell which advert worked. Website and sales records only; the PIMC Client app contains no advertising SDK.
  • FormSubmit — which delivers website enquiry forms to our inbox.
  • Expo — which delivers updates to our two mobile apps. It receives a random installation identifier and app version identifiers from the device, not your personal data.
  • Anthropic — which scores and summarises enquiries for us on our servers, to help an agent judge who to call first. Your enquiry details are sent for that purpose and are not used to train its models.
  • Advocates, surveyors, land registries and county offices — where required to prepare your agreement, register a subdivision, or transfer your title.
  • Regulators, courts or law enforcement — where we are legally required to disclose.

7. Where your data is stored

Your data is stored on Google Firebase infrastructure and may be processed on servers outside Kenya. Where data is transferred outside Kenya, we rely on the safeguards required by the Data Protection Act, 2019, including our providers' contractual data-protection commitments.

8. How long we keep it

We keep your account, purchase, payment and title records for as long as you are our client, and afterwards for as long as the law requires us to retain land, tax and anti-money-laundering records — generally at least seven years. KYC documents are kept for the same period. Enquiries that do not lead to a purchase are kept only for as long as they are commercially relevant. Support messages and referral records are kept while they remain relevant to our relationship with you.

9. How we protect it

Access to the app requires your password. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with access rules that restrict each client's records to that client and to authorised PIMC staff. Electronic signatures are recorded on our server so that the audit trail cannot be altered from a phone.

10. Your rights

Under the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019, you have the right to:

  • be informed of how your data is used;
  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or out of date;
  • ask us to delete data, where we are not required by law to keep it;
  • object to, or ask us to restrict, certain processing; and
  • withdraw a consent you previously gave.

To exercise any of these, email hello@pimcglobal.co.ke. We will respond within the timeframes set by law. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC) at www.odpc.go.ke.

11. Deleting your account or data

You can ask us to close your PIMC Client account and delete your personal data at any time — either from Account → Request account deletion inside the app, or by emailing hello@pimcglobal.co.ke. Closing your account removes your access to the app. We may need to retain your underlying land, payment and KYC records for the legal retention periods described in section 8, after which they are deleted.

The PIMC Field CRM is a staff app with no public sign-up, so it has no in-app account deletion: staff accounts are opened and closed by PIMC, and an account is disabled the day someone leaves. To ask for a copy of your data, or for it to be erased, email hello@pimcglobal.co.ke. We answer within 30 days, as section 10 describes.

12. Children

Our website and app are intended for adults buying land. They are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

13. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change is significant, notify you in the app or by email.
